BitSift Networks anticipates the need to fill several positions in the coming months. Some of these may be hired out on a contract basis, others may be full time positions at our offices in Los Angeles.

Drupal/PHP/SQL Expert
Candidate should be extremely familiar with the Drupal Content Management System and have experience optimizing LAMP-based websites for performance. Ideally, the candidate would be someone active in the Drupal user community and have experience writing Drupal modules.

CSS Template Designer
Ideal candidate should have experience creating CSS templates for the Drupal CMS, and experience with creating templates that utilize HTML 5. A designer's sense of style along with a technical knowledge of CSS and some familiarity with PHP is needed.

SEO & Monetization Guru
An experienced search engine and web advertising expert who can optimize our network of sites for maximum revenue. Experience with Google Adsense and Google Analytics is required, familiarity with other ad networks and custom branded campaigns is a plus.

Social News Intern
An intern position for a college student majoring in communications, journalism or related fields. This person would be responsible with interfacing with the constituent communities of niche websites. Familiarity with popular social networking tools like Facebook and Twitter is required. Some experience with 3rd party tools for automation and analytics of social networking is a plus.

iPhone/Android/WebOS mobile application developer
We would like to create custom applications to access our social news networks via the iPhone, Android and WebOS mobile operating systems. Utilizing the Drupal Services module, data can be readily sent back and forth to our sites using XMLRPC (or other interfaces). Someone who is experienced with building front-ends for mobile applications should be able to easily harvest this data.
